📅 Best Time to Visit Benalmádena

Benalmádena is one of the most year-round-able resorts in mainland Spain. Peak season is mid-July to mid-September, with daytime highs of 28–32°C, sea temperatures of 22–24°C and the marina, beaches and waterparks at full capacity. May, June and September are the value-strong shoulder months at 23–28°C with cheaper hotel rates and the cable car and Stupa at their best. April and October still deliver 19–23°C, with the sea around 17–19°C — pleasant for walking and culture-led couples but cool for swimming. 🚗 Getting Around

The 18km transfer from Málaga Airport (AGP) is among Spain's shortest — taxis cost around €30 and take 20 minutes via the AP-7 motorway, or €40 to Benalmádena Pueblo. The Cercanías C-1 commuter train runs from AGP to Arroyo de la Miel station every 20 minutes for €3.05 and is the quickest way for solo travellers.
